Day 1: Arrive in Cusco. Bienvenida a Peru! One of our friendly team will meet you from the airport and take you to your starting accommodation. Meet the rest of your group this evening for some ceviche and a few pisco sours!

Day 2: Cusco City. Kick off with an orientation walk around Cusco’s pretty cobbled streets. Tuck into some street stall tamales, pick up some colourful souvenirs from the markets, or get your history on with a visit to the Inca and Spanish site of Sacsayhuamán.

Day 3: Cusco local culture. Eat off your hangover with a hearty breakfast before heading to a rural artists’ community. Learn how to weave from the locals and get messy with some clay and paint. Best of all, you’re supporting local communities while you get crafty – everybody’s a winner!

Day 4: Cusco to Ollantaytambo. Our first stop today is the Maras Salt Mines, a mind-boggling system built by the Incas that’s still in use today! Take some killer shots for Insta before upping the adrenaline with a white-knuckle mountain-bike ride down Sacred Mountain!

Day 5: Ollantaytambo. With two Inca ruins, cute cobblestone streets and a mountainous backdrop, ‘Ollanta’ is one of our fave places in Peru! Take a short walk to a viewpoint for some swoon-worthy selfies, then spend the afternoon exploring or just chillax ahead of the Inca trail tomorrow!

Day 6: Ollantaytambo to the Inca Trail. Board the Inca Trail train to Km104 this morning, which is 12 kilometres before the one and only Machu Picchu! Hiking past mist-shrouded mountains and ancient sites high in the Andes, is an experience you won’t forget in a hurry.

Day 7: Machu Picchu to Cusco. Tick off one of the world’s top travel experiences - magical Machu Picchu! No matter how many pics you’ve seen, nothing can prepare you for this. Spend the whole day walking around the awe-inspiring ruins before heading back to Cusco City.

Day 8: Cusco cooking class. Relax this morning after a massive few days. Later on we’ll be sizzling up a storm with a traditional cooking class, where we’ll be slicing and dicing two courses, including a mouth-watering plate of lomo saltado (beef stir-fry) and finishing off with a refreshing pisco sour!

Day 9: Rainbow Mountain. Today’s big on colour as we take the bus to Rainbow Mountain. Marbled with layers of gold, lavender, red and turquoise, it’s a Dali-esque landscape that’ll light up your Insta like Christmas! Spend all day trekking before heading back to Cusco for one last night with the gang.

Day 10: Adios amigos! Pack your bags, swap numbers and say your goodbyes before heading to the airport. Stay awesome!
