Day 1: Settle into Canggu. Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport where you’ll be picked up and transferred to our centrally located accommodation. Take some time to soak up Canggu’s feel-good vibe or head into the ocean yourself, before meeting up with the rest of our group. This evening we’ll enjoy drinks on the rooftop while the sun sets, and get to know each other over our first dinner together!
Day 2: Chill out in Canggu. Kick off your day the right way with a beginner-friendly surfing lesson! You’ll be guided every step of the way by one of our expert instructors, who knows where all the best waves and less crowded spots are. After the lesson has finished, the rest of today is free and open.
Day 3: Nusa Penida. See you later, Canggu. Next up, it’s Nusa Penida! After checking into our next welcoming place of stay, we’ll discover Diamond Beach and the Thousand Island viewpoint which are even more breathtaking in person. We’ll stay longer for an optional lunch and then make a trip to the arched Broken Beach and Jurassic-like Kelingking Beach. The day finishes off with an escape to Crystal Bay for a divine sunset over white sand.
Day 4: Manta Ray snorkelling. Today we’re exploring more of Nusa Penida - this time in the water! We’ll board our boat this morning for a tour around the miniature but mighty bays that make up Nusa Penida. Our final stop is the legendary Manta Bay, where we’ll put on our snorkelling gear and dive into the water. Home to one of the world’s greatest populations of Manta Rays, today’s your chance to see these friendly giants in the wild, smiling up at you as you swim by.
Day 5: Gili Trawangan. Today we’ll escape to an island paradise where there’s not a car or motorbike in sight. After a quick ferry journey from Nusa Penida, we’ll check in and enjoy a free afternoon. This evening we’ll meet up for a bicycle tour to a secret viewing spot on the island, just in time for the magnificent sunset.
Day 6: Gili island-hopping. Other than its astonishing sunsets, rich marine life and magnetic nightlife, the one thing Gili T is most known for is island-hopping! Today we’ll take a private tour around the surrounding islands and soak up the exquisite scenery that lies above and below the crystal waters. The rest of today is open for you to enjoy Gili T at your own pace. We’ll also be running an optional eco-recycling tour in partnership with Gili Eco Trust this afternoon if you’re interested in helping out around the island.
Day 7: Ubud. It’s hard to say goodbye to Gili T, but our next destination is the one you’ve been waiting for. Cascading emerald rice terraces, purifying water temples, cheeky monkeys, yoga retreats and rainforest rivers… Ubud is quintessential Bali. Once we’ve checked into our next hotel - which feels like a peaceful sanctuary amid the bustle of Ubud - we’ll travel a short distance to the Monkey Forest Temple!
Day 8: Ultimate Ubud. Today we’ll explore more of Ubud, starting with a visit to one of the sacred water temples. Our next stop is the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces, where we’ll have the chance to walk through the fields, learn more about the location’s rural history and take plenty of photos. The afternoon is open for you to explore the abundance of nearby activities. We’ll meet again later to walk the lush and peaceful Tjampuhan Ridge Walk together in time for the sunset. The ethereal view is the finishing touch on a day that’s one to remember.
Day 9: Mount Batur. It’s an early rise this morning for a view that’s beyond words. There’s nothing quite like this hike up the ancient Mount Batur to catch the sun rising over the landscape. You’ll be greeted not just by the spectacular vista, but also with a cup of coffee and breakfast cooked using the lava stones!
Day 10: Hidden gems enroute to Pemuteran. Enjoy a chilled morning as we head north to the scenic bay of Pemuteran. Along the way, we’ll dip into the jungle-clad mountains in search of secret treasures, including the Banyumala Twin Waterfalls and a coffee farm atop a mountain. We’ll leave for Pemuteran in the late afternoon for, you guessed it, another of Bali’s otherworldly sunsets. This is the Island of the Gods we’re talking about.
Day 11: Menjangan Island and BioRock. Our Bali adventure hasn’t finished just yet! We’ll be finishing on a high with an action-packed day on Menjangan Island. Named after the deer who live on the island, you’ll get to befriend and feed these beautiful creatures after eating an included lunch. Then we’ll be exploring more natural wonders with swimming gear on. What makes this trip even more special is that we’ll get to visit the Biorock Project: a local-led initiative to boost coral growth. Our day finishes with a beach clean-up while the sun sets, only for our hard work to be rewarded with happy hour cocktails by the pool!
Day 12: Return to Canggu. What a blast it’s been! Today we’ll check out at 10am and arrive in Canggu at around 1pm. Booking a flight no earlier than 6pm is highly recommended so that you can get to the airport in plenty of time. Return airport transfers are not included, but your trip leader can help you to organise this. Alternatively, you may wish to extend your stay further in Bali (we don’t blame you!).
