Choose from our 15 day itinerary which ends in Maun, Botswana, or join us for 21 days, finishing in Windhoek, Namibia.

Day 1: Cape Town (South Africa). Arrive in the coolest city in South Africa and transfer to our starting hotel. Meet the rest of the gang before heading into the city and getting to know each other over some dinner and a brew or two.

Day 2: Cape Town city tour. Take a cable car ride up the iconic Table Mountain today for 360-degree views, before a guided tour of the city, from colourful Bo-Kaap to the V&A Waterfront. This afternoon, take an optional tour of a township before getting your sizzle on with a cooking class.

Day 3: Cape Town free day. Today’s yours to enjoy Cape Town at your own pace. Catch some epic waves, sample some street-side bunny chow, or join our optional excursions to meet the penguins at Boulders Beach or to Cape Point Vineyards for a wine tasting.

Day 4: Cape Town to Kruger National Park. Fly to Johannesburg, before transferring to Kruger National Park in time for a sunset game drive. With lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalos, it’s like stepping into the Lion King! Spend tonight under the stars on the banks of the Sabie River.

Day 5: Kruger National Park. Join our optional morning game drive to see Kruger as the animals wake for the day, before heading back to camp for a dip in the pool, and lunch. There’s another optional game drive on offer at sunset, followed by a traditional South African braai – yum!

Day 6: Kruger to Johannesburg. Enjoy one last morning game drive in beautiful Kruger before paying a visit to a traditional village with a local guide and learning about rural life here.  This afternoon, head back to Johannesburg and crash at the hotel ahead of our flight to Victoria Falls tomorrow!

Day 7: Johannesburg to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Fly to Victoria Falls. Peel your jaw off the floor as we approach the colossal waterfall where the Zambezi plunges hundreds of feet, sending a cloud of mist into the air that can be seen for miles. This evening, round off in style with our optional sunset cruise.

Day 8: Victoria Falls. Channel your inner adrenaline junky today with a selection of heart-pounding optional activities from white-water rafting on the Zambezi, to a gorge slide, or bridge swing. If you’d rather keep things a little more chilled, there’s a local village visit on offer too.

Day 9: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park (Botswana). Take an optional walking safari through Zambezi’s National Park, or see Victoria Falls from the air with a thrilling helicopter ride. Then cross into Botswana, where our destination is a private campsite in the legendary Chobe National Park.

Please note: Due to the rainy season, overnight camping in Chobe is not available from October to March. During this time, you’ll spend two nights in at a lodge instead.

Day 10: Chobe National Park. Head out on a morning game drive and feel the adrenaline rush as you spot elephants moving across the grasslands, lions in search of their next meal, and giraffes grazing. Head to our new lodge where we’ll chill by the pool ahead of an optional wildlife river cruise.

Day 11: Chobe to Makgadikadi Salt Pans. Travel to Makgadikadi where you can take an excursion into the salt pans to meet a colony of characterful meerkats. Snap some surreal selfies against the blinding white landscape, and watch the meerkats as they play, feed, and snooze in the sun.

Day 12: Makgadikadi to Okavango Delta. Leave the salt pans behind and travel to the shimmering Okavango Delta. Our home tonight is an exclusive safari camp where we’ll share a campfire meal and swap stories under a canopy of stars.

Day 13: Okavango Delta. Make like David Attenborough and travel into the heart of the delta on two game drives where you’ll have the chance to see elephants, hippos, and crocs. As the sun sets, tuck into a campfire dinner before heading back out on a magical night game drive!

Day 14: Okavango Delta to Maun. Tank up on breakfast before one final game drive in the delta. Then pile back into the safari vehicles. Next stop Maun! Check into our new lodge before an optional helicopter flight. Then take an optional visit to a local craft brewery.

Day 15: Maun to Windhoek (Namibia) or trip end. If you’re on the 15-day trip, today’s where we leave you. If you’re on the 21-day trip, we’ll cross the border into Namibia headed for its lively capital. Pick up souvenirs in the craft markets before drinks at the famous Joe’s Beerhouse!

Day 16: Windhoek to Sossusvlei. Breakfast big before hitting the highway again. Stop for lunch at the picturesque Nauklauft mountain range before arriving at Sossusvlei, a surreal wonderland that’s straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Day 17: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund. Head into Namib-Naukluft National Park, a true desert wilderness, where we’ll see the soaring orange sand dunes of Sosussvlei, Big Daddy, and the skeletal trees of Deadvlei. Next up its Swakopmund where we’ll head out for dinner and drinks.

Day 18: Swakopmund. With colourful colonial architecture, pristine beaches, and a big adrenaline sports scene, Swakopmund is a dream destination. Sample some of its high-octane offerings with an optional quad-biking, kayaking, or sandboarding session, or take a tour of Mondesa Township.

Day 19: Swakopmund to Etosha National Park. Travel inland to Etosha, stopping en route at an African Bushman village, where we’ll learn about their skills and crafts. Spend tonight with your mates at the lodge ahead of another day of incredible animal experiences.

Day 20: Etosha National Park. Head into Etosha for a full day’s game drive, rolling through the grasslands in search of lions, giraffes, and rhino. Tonight’s our last, so gather around the campfire with the group and share one last buffet dinner under the stars.

Day 21: Etosha to Windhoek. Fill up on breakfast before our final journey back to Windhoek, where we’ll say our goodbyes, swap numbers, and start planning next year’s trip!
