Day 1: Arrive in Delhi. Once you’ve landed at the airport, we’ll be waiting to pick you up and take you straight to the hotel to chill out. This evening, we will meet up for the first time as a group and get to know each other!
Day 2: Old Delhi & food tour. Delhi is one of the most vibrant and sensational cities this world has to offer; and today immerses you in all the cultural attractions, culinary treasures and rich traditions that make it so memorable. After eating likely one of the best lunches of your life, our Delhi day tour will finish with an afternoon visit to the awe-inspiring Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India.
Day 3: The Blue City of Jodhpur. This morning, we’ll board a short flight to the entrancing city of Jodhpur, with 700 years of history hidden behind the bold blue architecture. The exceptional colours pop in photos, but this destination has so much more to offer beyond the camera lens. To finish off this incredible day of exploration, we will dig in for a local dinner together.
Day 4: Fort and traditional village. Jodhpur’s scenery is irresistible, and today you’ll get to see even more of it. This morning, we will explore the breathtaking Mehrangarh Fort. In the afternoon, we will visit the scenic village of Bishnoi, where you can discover how the locals deeply respect their nature and wildlife.
Day 5: Desert camp and sunset safari. Later today, we’ll make our way from Jodhpur to our incredible campsite in the heart of the Thar Desert. Once we’re settled in, our sunset safari awaits. From the comfort of a jeep, admire the astonishing landscape filled with dramatic dunes, sand that glistens like gold and a sky so colourful it’s like a painting. Enjoy a dinner back at camp with incredible stargazing views.
Day 6: Pushkar and yoga. The sacred city of Pushkar is famous for its scenic lake, mesmerising ivory buildings and significant Hindu pilgrimage sites. Today we’ll explore the vibrant markets and sample more of India’s beautiful food, before finishing the evening with a yoga session - as Pushkar is where this way of life was invented! Whether you’re a first-timer or a devoted yogi, this spiritual experience will make you feel all the more connected to Pushkar.
Day 7: Temple sunrise and Hawa Mahal. Today we’ll explore more of India’s breathtaking colour palette, starting with a hike bright and early this morning. After breakfast, we’ll take a road trip to the enchanting “Pink City” of Jaipur. Its rose-tinted architecture makes Jaipur an instant classic for travellers. Our final stop of the day is the brilliant Jantar Mantar observatory.
Day 8: Amber Fort and Indian cooking. From the comfort of a jeep, we’ll climb the rugged hilltop where the sweeping Rajasthani Amber Fort resides. Explore the magnificent architecture up close as you admire the intricate mosaic tiles that flood the columns, walls and ceilings. Tonight, we’ll visit a local family and learn their culinary secrets as we help out in the kitchen to prepare dinner.
Day 9: Jungle paradise in Ranthambore. India is famed for its ancient history and incredible food, but its best-kept secret is the diverse wildlife. Today we’ll travel to the outskirts of the outstanding Ranthambore National Park, with its greatest draw being the Royal Bengal tigers who call the region home. Enjoy some time to unwind at the resort, before we embark on an epic expedition to the striking ancient ruins of Ranthambore Fort.
Day 10: Sunrise tiger safari. Rise early this morning for a safari at sunrise. This mesmerising national park is abundant in natural beauty spots and diverse wildlife, from crocodiles to wild boars. As we explore deeper, there’s a good chance of us spotting big cat creatures like mighty leopards and the revered Bengal tigers. When we return to the hotel, enjoy some free time to lounge by the pool and soak in the local surroundings.
Day 11: Agra and Baby Taj. Today we’ll say goodbye to the jungle and hello to the enchanting city of Agra: completing India’s world-renowned Golden Triangle. Discover even more hidden gems, starting with the marvellous tiers of the Abhaneri Stepwell. Then we will visit the breathtaking I’timãd-ud-Daulah: lovingly nicknamed the “Baby Taj” after its ivory architecture and detailed interior.
Day 12: Taj Mahal at sunrise. Our journey through India is coming to an end... but we saved the most legendary sight until last. Devastatingly beautiful and born from an epic love story, it’s no surprise that the Taj Mahal is one of the world’s new seven wonders. After exploring this extraordinary attraction, we’ll come back to the hotel for breakfast and set off on our final road trip back to Delhi. Tonight, let’s celebrate our adventure with a feast, a few drinks and dancing!
Day 13: End trip. Our trip to India was just under two weeks, but the memories will last a lifetime. Depart at any time today; if you need any help with onward travel, your guide will be happy to help.
