You’ll discover the most significant historical landmarks including Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and Kampong Glam. Cycle to Marina Promenade in time for a spectacular sunset, before dinner in the legendary hawker centre Lau Pa Sat – yum!

After filling up on Singaporean delicacies, explore the nearby Civic District, one of the city’s most historic areas.

Day 2: Gardens by the Bay. We’ve included entry to the unmissable Gardens by the Bay today, but we wanted to give you maximum flexibility, so when you visit is up to you. Spend up to two hours wandering through this botanical haven, marvelling at the Supertree grove, flower fields, and Cloud Forest.

There are lots of optional activities on offer for the rest of the day (extra cost), including a cooking class, a visit to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark, a trip on a traditional bumboat to Merlion Park, a visit to the Mandai River Wonders wildlife park, and a night safari in Singapore Zoo. After dark it’s time for Singapore slings all around!

Day 3: See ya Singapore! Pack your bags and head back to the airport. Your Singapore layover ends here.

Please note: This unguided trip is a combination of local travel experiences and is not a group trip. You will need to make sure you are in the right place at the right time to meet your daily experiences. This is a great way to get that independent traveller experience, while still enjoying loads of activities.
