Uncover the wonders of the Land Down Under on our ultimate Aussie adventure. From the buzzing cities of Sydney and Cairns, and the golden beaches of the East Coast to the tropical rainforests of the North, and the great red expanse of the Outback, you’ll experience the full diversity of Australia’s landscapes. We’ve included tons of amazing activities from misty hikes in the Blue Mountains, and surf lessons in Byron Bay, to bush tucker experiences, and a hike through the world’s oldest Rainforest. Oh, and did we mention the day trip to K’gari and the dreamy 2-day, 2-night cruise through the Whitsundays? Just awesome.

Day 1: Blue Mountains day trip
Start your trip in iconic Sydney (Warrane). Meet your group and trip leader before your first taste of Aussie nature in the Blue Mountains. Then spend the evening discovering Sydney's pubs and bars with your new mates.
Days 2 - 3: Sydney (Warrane)
You've got two days to enjoy the best of the city, including a walking tour of Sydney's highlights from the Opera House to the Royal Botanic Gardens, and some time on Bondi Beach's golden sands. You'll have plenty of free time to explore at your own pace too.
Days 4 - 5: Byron Bay (Cavvanbah)
Take a short flight over to surfing Mecca, Byron Bay. Learn how to ride the rollers with a surf lesson, chill on the beach, opt to visit the lighthouse or to take a guided kayak adventure, and enjoy the beach sunsets, live music, and artsy atmosphere.
Day 6: Byron Bay (Cavvanbah) to Noosa Everglades via Stokers Siding
Stop to meet some farm animals before we head to Noosa Everglades and feast on a lovely dinner with the group. We'll be spending the night in an eco lodge tonight, chilling by the campfire.
Day 7: K'gari day trip
Wake up in our eco camp before heading to legendary K'gari. Explore epic sand dunes, float around Lake Mackenzie, take a dip in crystal waters, spot dingoes, and feast on a delicious lunch before heading back to our Noosa Everglades camp.
Day 8: Noosa to Airlie Beach
Fly to Airlie Beach, a lively beach town buzzing with backpackers, bars and shops. Immerse yourself in nature this afternoon with an optional canoe tour through the Everglades, before partying in Airlie's pubs and clubs.
Days 9 - 10: Whitsunday Islands
Hop aboard our converted racing yacht for 2 unforgettable days sailing around the Whitsundays! Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, visit the 'world's best beach', sail an ex racing yacht, chill out on deck, and enjoy dinner under the stars.
Days 11 - 12: Magnetic Island (Yunbenun)
Head back to dry land and take a scenic train ride to Townsville, before hopping on the ferry to Magnetic Island where you'll enjoy a bottomless breakfast with the koalas at Selina Koala Village, take the Fort Walk, and spot rock wallabies at dusk.
Day 13: Magnetic Island (Yunbenun) to Cairns (Gimuy)
Take the ferry to Townsville and the train to tropical Cairns. Prepare for a unique dinner tonight with a quality bush tucker dining experience.
Day 14: Daintree Rainforest day trip
Today will be full of unique experiences as we take a day trip to Daintree Rainforest. Then get to know local Kuku people as you take an optional art lesson with an Aboriginal artist.
Days 15 - 16: Cairns (Gimuy)
You've got two free days in gorgeous Cairns. Explore the Great Barrier Reef by catamaran, take a once-in-a-lifetime scuba diving experience, hit the Skyrail, and push your limits with an adrenaline-pumping skydive. After dark, head out for drinks in Cairns' buzzing bars.
Day 17: Cairns (Gimuy) to Uluru
A trip to the Outback would not be complete without visiting breathtaking Uluru! Take a flight over from Cairns and settle into our chilled lodge before an optional visit to the 'Field of Lights'.
Days 18 - 20: Uluru
There's no better way to round off your Aussie adventure than with three days at Uluru. You'll watch a selfie-worthy sunrise over the ancient rock, trek into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, visit Walpa Gorge and the Valley of the Winds, and take a day trip to Kings Canyon. Round off the trip watching the sun set over Uluru with a glass of bubbles in hand. Wow.

We’ve got a day trip to the Blue Mountains planned for day 1, so you’ll need to arrive the day before and book an additional night of accommodation (extra cost). Airport transfers are not included, but it’s easy to reach the city by train, or taxi (20 – 25 minutes traffic dependent). We’ll supply you with details of our meeting point after you book.
The trip ends after breakfast in Uluru on day 20. You’ll need to get to Ayers Rock/Connellan Airport (AYQ), from which you can fly to a number of Australian cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide and Alice Springs). Return transfers aren’t included either, but a taxi is easy to organise (ask your travel advisor for more information). The journey time is around ten minutes, depending on traffic.
Accommodation
This trip includes 19 nights of accommodation. You’ll spend 12 nights in hostels, 3 nights in a lodge, 2 nights in an eco-camp, and 2 nights in a converted racing yacht!
Meals
15 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 6 dinners are included on this trip. You’ll have to arrange the rest of your meals yourself.
The minimum age to join this trip is 18. This trip is designed for travellers aged 18-35 years old.
All visitors to Australia (excepting those from New Zealand) will require a visa or e-visa/ETA to enter. These must be applied for before departure, and if you’re planning on working in Australia whilst you’re out here you’ll need a Working Holiday Visa. If you are just heading to Australia for fun however, an ETA will suffice. Both visas can be applied for online. Please feel free to contact us if you need any more information.
