Sri Lanka Intro - 12 days (option 2 only)
Arrive into Colombo and transfer to your beachside accommodation in Negombo. Then it’s on to beautiful Dambulla, where you’ll stay in an epic ‘glamping’ resort, take a boat cruise, watch a cooking demo and see the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress! We’ll journey to Kandy, home of the sacred Temple of the Tooth. Then we’ll visit a tea plantationl, before boarding the train to Ella - one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world! In Ella, we’ll climb Little Adam’s Peak and visit the Insta-famous Nine Arch Bridge, before travelling to Udawalawe National Park. We’ll have some incredible safari experiences in Udawale and then make our way back to the coast. We’ll stay in a chic eco-retreat on Tallala Beach and spend some time in lovely Mirissa, taking yoga classes and surf lessons along the way. We’ll then visit a Buddhist monastery where we’ll meet the monk students. The Sri Lankan leg of your adventure ends on day 12. Pack your stuff and get ready to travel on to amazing Thailand!
Southeast Asia Adventure - 47 days
Get ready for an incredible 6-country adventure! Start in Bangkok before heading to Cambodia to explore Angkor Wat, enjoy the beaches on Koh Rong Sanloem and sightsee Phnom Penh. Next up, it’s Vietnam! From the legendary Ha Giang countryside loop to a gorgeous overnight cruise around Ha Long Bay, our time in Vietnam is so memorable - especially because we go to amazing cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Hanoi! Come back to Thailand to see elephants and temples in the north before flying south to do some island-hopping! Land in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, to keep the party going before unwinding in the breathtaking and bright emerald Cameron Highlands. Finish your trip in Singapore to tour all the city highlights and enjoy the best Hawker food. Next up, it’s Bali!
Welcome to Bali! Start with a stay on the volcanic sands of Canggu where you will have a surf lesson, explore ancient temples and enjoy the golden sands. Then we head inland to Lovina where we’ll stop at two ancient temples, hand-feed wild monkeys and swim at a beautiful waterfall. You’ll also take an incredible dolphin cruise before boarding the ferry to gorgeous Gili Trawangan. Chill on the dazzling beach on Gili T, explore the island by bike, take a boat tour around all three of the Gilis and party all night on the sands. We’ll then head back to Bali, to the bohemian jungle town of Ubud, where we’ll visit the famous Monkey Forest, take a sunrise volcano trek (with breakfast cooked over the volcano!) and enjoy a massage. If you’ve booked option 1, your Ultimate Asia trip comes to an end today.
Philippines Intro - 13 days (option 2 only)
Get ready to explore the Philippines! Land in Manila before heading to Moalboal for Kawasan Falls canyoneering and sardine runs. Then we’ll go to Coron for some city sightseeing and diving into the magical Sulu Sea for some snorkelling inside the Coral Triangle. Hike Mount Tapyas and chill out in the Maquinit Hot Springs, before hopping onto a banca boat and sailing to a secret paradise where we’ll stay in traditional beach huts. Then our last destination in the Philippines is El Nido for jungle canopy walks, a massage and plenty of beach time - including at the gorgeous Nacpan Beach.

Option 2: Home to Colombo - Colombo to Bangkok - Singapore to Denpasar - Denpasar to Manila - El Nido/Puerto Princesa to Home

Sri Lanka Intro (option 2 only) - An airport pick up is included. You should land into Colombo airport at any time on day 1. The trip ends in Mirissa on day 12 and due to the journey time back to the airport you should book flights that depart after 7pm on your end date.
Southeast Asia Adventure - An airport pick up is included is you arrive into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Muang Airport on day one. There is a welcome meeting at 5pm. This trip ends back in Singapore on day 47. You can depart at any time.
Bali Intro - You should land into Denpasar Airport in Bali on day 1 – you can arrive at any time and an airport transfer is included. This trip ends in Ubud on day 12. A return airport transfer is not included but is easily arranged locally.
Philippines Intro (option 2 only) - You will need to arrive into Manila Airport on day 1 before 4pm , where your group leader will meet you and take you across to your accommodation. Your tour ends in El Nido on day 10. We recommend flying out from El Nido airport on this day. An airport transfer is not included but is easy to arrange. Alternatively you have the option to fly out of Puerto Princesa the following day.
Accommodation
- Sri Lanka Intro (option 2 only) - 11 nights in a combination of hotels, glamping resorts and an eco-retreat. Rooms are on a twin or double-share basis.
- Southeast Asia Adventure - 46 nights of accommodation are included, mostly in mixed hostel rooms of between 4 to 10 beds. There are 2 nights of overnight transport.
- Bali Intro - 11 nights in a mix of guesthouses, hotels and private villas. Most nights will be twin or double share with 2 nights on a multi-share, mixed dorm basis. Accommodation is of a great standard, with swimming pools, private bathrooms and air con.
- Philippines (option 2 only) - 12 nights of accommodation are included on this trip. All rooms are on a twin share basis.

Meals
Some meals are included on each leg of the tour, but you’ll have to buy the rest of your meals yourself. This allows you maximum flexibility to eat when and where you want and is a really important part of your cultural experience.
- Sri Lanka Intro (option 2 only) - 11 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 dinners
- Southeast Asia Adventure - 23 breakfasts, 9 lunches and 8 dinners
- Bali Intro - 10 breakfasts,1 lunch, and 1 dinners
- Philippines Intro (option 2 only) - 12 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 2 dinners
Sri Lanka - UK citizens can get a 30 day visa upon arrival into Sri Lanka, although we recommend appling for an e-visa (ETA) online before travel. To enter Sri Lanka, your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 6 months after the day you arrive.
Thailand: British passport holders can visit Thailand for up to 60 days without a visa. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day that you enter Thailand.
Cambodia: Most travellers from the UK can get a visa on arrival when crossing the border. If you wish to, an e-visa can be obtained before arrival. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Cambodia and must be undamaged with no missing pages.
Vietnam: British passport holders can visit Vietnam without a visa for up to 45 days. Your passport must be undamaged, have an expiration date of at least 6 months after your arrival date and contain at least 2 blank pages.
Laos: Travellers can get a visa upon arrival at the airport, or can apply online for an e-visa before the start of this trip. Your passport must have an expiry date of at least 6 months after the day you enter Laos, and it must contain 2 blank pages.
Malaysia: British nationals can visit Malaysia for up to 90 days as a tourist without needing a visa. Your passport must be undamaged with no pages missing, and it must be valid for at least 6 months from the date that you arrive in Malaysia.
Singapore: Travellers can visit Singapore without a visa, and the period of stay is at the discretion of the immigration officer. The average for British citizens is between 14 to 30 days.
Bali, Indonesia - British Citizens who are entering Indonesia for tourism purposes can apply for a visa on arrival at a cost of approximately IDR 500,000. This visa is valid for 30 days. A tourism levy of approximately £8 is payable upon each entry into the island of Bali via an air or sea port (including re-entry from surrounding islands). You must have a passport with at least 6 months validity from your arrival date and at least two blank pages available in your passport.
Philippines - UK passport holders are permitted to enter the Philippines visa free for an initial period of 30 days.
