We'll finish up with an all-American road-trip on the West Coast.

SOUTH AFRICA - South Africa Big 5 Conservation - 14 days
Spend between 14 days volunteering on our incredible Big 5 game reserve in the heart of the African bush. You’ll get involved with everything from capturing animals for medical treatment, to feeding predators, securing fences from poachers and maintaining indigenous plant species. Enjoy the reserve’s fantastic facilities during your free time and spend weekends exploring the local area with excursions to some of the brightest highlights of the Garden Route. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, that’ll leave you with magical memories as well as the satisfaction of helping to conserve some of the most amazing animals on the planet.
THAILAND - Thai Adventure – 25 days
Kick off your amazing trip around Asia in vibrant Bangkok, where you’ll enjoy boat tours, temple visits and banging nights out. Next up it’s Chiang Mai where you’ll visit an ethical elephant project, hike through the northern foothills, go bamboo rafting, learn how to cook authentic Thai food, and spend a night in a rustic retreat. Then fly to the South, where we’ll chill on the beaches of Phuket, and then we journey on to beautiful Phi Phi for a few days, before transferring to the lively beach town of Ao Nang. We’ll take a kayaking expedition through mangrove forests, before a trip inland to the spectacular Khao Sok National Park, where you’ll stay on the lake in a float-house! Then it’s back to the islands for some time on on Koh Samui, including a blissful day kayaking and snorkelling in Ang Thong Marine Park. Our last island destination is lovely little Koh Tao where we’ll spend time sunning ourselves and visiting the best snorkelling and kayaking spots, before travelling back to good old Bangkok for a last night out.
Have non-stop fun in beautiful Bali, with surf lessons, dolphin spotting, snorkelling excursions, bike tours, monkey forests, temple visits, a sunrise volcano trip and much more. We’ll take you to the best beaches, the most pumping parties and the cultural heart of the island, Ubud, as well as the gorgeous Gili islands, just a short hop away.
AUSTRALIA - East Coast Highlights – 21 days
Discover the best of the East Coast of Australia, including stunning Sydney, hippy Byron, the iconic Surfers Paradise, vibrant Brisbane, the chilled out town of 1770, Cairns and much more. We’ll take you on a 2-night sailing adventure round the stunning Whitsunday Islands, conquer the sandy wilds of K'gari in a 4 x 4, visit the world famous Australia Zoo, and snorkel over the Great Barrier Reef – one of the wonders of the world.
NEW ZEALAND - New Zealand Adventure - 17 days
Get the ultimate kiwi experience on this 17 day group tour! The landscapes in New Zealand are truly dream-like. Spend your time soaking up epic views, get your heart-racing with adventure sports and swim in gorgeous waters.
Kick off your adventure on the North Island in Auckland. Explore the breathtaking Waitomo glow-worm caves, dip in the naturally heated Kerosene Creek and spot the icy waters flowing at Huka Falls! We’ll then fly to Queenstown for more bucket list experiences on the South Island. Jet Boat through Skippers Canyon, snap pics of famous Lord of the Rings filming locations and trek the Hooker Valley track for incredible views of Aoraki/ Mount Cook!
USA - West Coast Adventure - 11 days
Soak up some sunshine on this awesome tour of the West Coast. Including LA, San Diego, Phoenix, and the counter-culture hub of San Francisco. Marvel at the wonders of the Grand Canyon, take in nature on an epic scale at Yosemite National Park and party the night away on the strip in Las Vegas. It’s a classic all-American road-trip!

If you do the programmes in the order suggested then your flight route will be: Home to Port Elizabeth - Port Elizabeth to Bangkok - Bangkok to Denpasar - Denpasar to Sydney - Cairns to Auckland - Queenstown to Los Angeles - San Francisco to Home. Please see below for full details of the arrival and departure.
South Africa
Fly into Port Elizabeth airport. You need to arrive before 4pm on your start date. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the game reserve. Return transfers are not included but easily arranged locally.
Thailand
Arrange into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport on day 1 of your tour. You’ll be met at the airport by your group leader, who will take you to your hotel and introduce you to the rest of your group. Your Thai Adventure ends back in Bangkok on day 25. Return airport transfers are not included.
Bali
Fly into Denpasar Airport on day 1 (airport transfer included). You can arrive in advance of the start date and still take up the inclusive transfer if you book extra nights of accommodation through us. If you wish to arrive before the start date, then please let us know this in advance. The Bali Intro ends in Ubud on day 12. A return airport transfer is not included but your guide can help arrange this. A transfer by minivan takes around 1.5 hours. We recommend you do not book an onward flight until around 1pm on day 12.
Australia
Arrive into Sydney in time for the first day meeting of your East Coast Highlights trip which is at 1pm on Day . We recommend arriving the day before the trip begins. Your travel advisor can give you more information about booking an extra night’s accommodation. Your airport transfer is included on arrival.
Your Aussie adventure ends on day 21 in Cairns and you can travel on any time. Return airport transfers are not included. Our flights team will help you organise onward travel to New Zealand.
New Zealand
The trip kicks off on day 1 in Auckland. You can arrive at any time on day 1 and an airport pick up is included. All transport from the North Island to the South Island is included and the tour ends on day 17 in Queenstown. You’ll need to make your own way from the accommodation to the airport if you’re travelling on or heading home and your guide can help you arrange this locally.
USA
Your tour begins on day 1 in Los Angeles. Due to this, we recommend you arrive at least one day before. Extra accommodation is at your own cost and your travel advisor can help with booking. The American leg of your trip ends in San Francisco on day 11. You can depart at any time. Airport transfers are not included.
South Africa
All accommodation during your stay on the programme is included. You'll be staying in one of our backpacker five-star volunteer camps in the heart of the game reserve. These are made up of single sex dorm rooms with shared single sex bathroom facilities. The camps feature a lounge area, entertainment area with TV and satellite, and an on-site shop. You’ll have access to the game reserve’s facilities including table tennis, table football, pool table, a library, swimming pool, tennis courts and cricket field. You’ll spend the last night of your programme in a lodge in Port Elizabeth, so that you’re close to the airport for flights the following day. You'll be provided with three meals a day during your stay.
Thailand
Accommodation is included for the full 24 nights of the tour. For the majority of the trip your accommodation will be in modern hostels in multi-share rooms. 4 breakfasts, 7 lunches and 4 dinners are included, any remaining meals are not. This provides an excellent opportunity to engage with local people at restaurants and market stalls and to sample authentic local cuisine. Food in Southeast Asia is very cheap, so eating out won’t break the bank!
Bali
All your accommodation is included during the Bali Intro. The accommodation is of a great standard, with incredible swimming pools, private bathrooms, air conditioning and hot water. You'll be seriously spoilt! 10 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner are included.
Australia
You’ll be staying 13 nights in shared backpacker hostels on the East Coast of Australia including a resort, a beachfront hostel and awesome accommodation. 3 nights will be spent on an overnight bus, 2 nights sailing around the Whitsunday Islands and 2 nights camping on K'gari. The majority of the journeys on the tour will be by coach. The coaches used are modern and comfortable, with USB sockets, wifi (connection dependant) and reclining seats. The overnight coaches also have even more legroom (more than most airlines!), as well as reclining seats, so you'll get a great night’s sleep.
6 dinners, 5 lunches and 4 breakfasts are included on this trip. All additional meals, snacks and drinks will need to be purchased by you. Self-catering options are sometimes available, or the group often chooses to go out for a meal together. Australia is bursting with restaurants and cafes, so you’re never far from a good, cheap meal.
New Zealand
16 nights of accommodation is included on this trip. Accommodation will be in some specially selected hotels, where you will share rooms with 4-6 people on a mixed sex basis. All hostels will be to a great standard and in great locations, close by to all the action.
9 Breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners are included in the tour. You’ll need to cover the rest of your meals, snacks and drinks yourself. This means you’ve got the flexibility to eat where and when you like, and to try a wide variety of New Zealand’s diverse cuisine. Alternatively, you can prepare meals for yourself in the hostel kitchens.
USA
12 nights of multi-share accommodation are included on this group tour. You’ll stay in a combination of hostels and hotels.
6 breakfasts and 4 dinners are also provided. You’ll need to purchase the rest of your meals yourself.
The minimum age to join this Whole World 360 trip is 18.
South Africa
Nationals of the EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand don’t require a visa to enter South Africa. South African Immigration does ask that you have two completely blank consecutive pages in your passport, though as long as you hold a valid passport (and a valid return ticket) you will be granted a temporary visitor’s permit on arrival, allowing visitors to stay in South Africa for up to three months. You should also ensure that your passport will still be in date for six months after you return.
Thailand
British nationals can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 60 days.
Bali
A 30-day tourist visa is available on arrival in Bali, for a cost of USD35, to be paid on arrival. A tourism levy of approximately £8 is payable upon each entry into the island of Bali via an air or sea port (including re-entry from surrounding islands). You must have a passport with at least 6 months validity from your arrival date and at least two blank pages available in your passport.
Australia
All visitors to Australia (excepting those from New Zealand) will require a visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) to enter. These must be applied for before departure, and if you’re planning on working in Australia whilst you’re out here you’ll need a Working Holiday Visa. If you are just heading to Australia for fun however, an ETA will suffice. Both visas can be applied for online. In order to drive a 4x4 on K'gari you must be aged 21 or over and have a full, clean, manual driving license. Otherwise, you can see the island from the passenger seat!
New Zealand
You need to be a minimum of 18 years old to join this trip. This trip is designed for those aged 18- 39.
British citizens do not need a visa to enter New Zealand for up to six months, but you will need to get a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before you travel. This can be applied for online or via the dedicated mobile app. You’ll also need to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) when you apply.
Your passport should be valid for a minimum of three months from your date of exit, and you’ll need to be able to demonstrate that you have an onward ticket and sufficient funds to support you during your stay.
USA
Please note the legal drinking alcohol age in the USA is 21 years. If you are under 21, you will not be permitted into pubs, bars or casinos. British Nationals visiting the USA will be able to travel (for tourism purposes) under the US Visa Waiver Programme for durations of up to 90 days. All travellers going to the United States will have to complete the ESTA form online for authorisation under the Visa Waiver Programme. Details on how to apply for this will be given to you once you have booked.
